About our G E Product
G E thermal units are manufactured in house using:
Warm Edge Super Spacer®. Low Conductive non-metal Super Spacer Structural Foam blocks the heat escape path and provides the best energy performance;
All Thermal Panes are top quality and have a Primary Seal built into the Super Spacer backed by Butyl Hot Melt as a Secondary Seal to give you the best glass Performance in the Industry.
Other glass options to consider are:
- Low E Glass, which greatly increases insulating value.
- Argon Gas, which can replace the air inside a thermal pane and increase efficiency.
- Grills, which are sealed inside the thermal unit, and are spaced away from the glass to prevent thermal transfer.
If you are looking for premium performance in units that deliver all the promise of Warm Edge Technology, be sure they are Warm Edge Super Spacer sealed.

THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF THERMAL UNITS
- Step 1.
This process starts with a sheet of glass being floated from a free fall onto an air table, where the glass is entered into a computer that cuts the glass the proper size with minimum waste. - Step 2.
The glass is then fed into a high temperature glass washing machine that removes impurities where both sides of glass are washed and dried and inspected for imperfections before entering into the assembly process. - Step 3
The glass is then placed over an inspection light to be inspected again, we then apply Warm Edge Super Spacer to one pane of glass. If your application requires Grill work, they are installed on the glass at this point and then re-inspected again. Then it is topped with a second piece of glass.
Edgetech: www.edgetechig.com - Step 4.
This application is applying your secondary seal which is applied with Hotmelt Butyl to give you the highest standard for insulated glass in the industry.
